Well, VB probably will continue to 'copy' IPB if they see some feature that they are missing, and vise-versa, IPB will also 'copy' VB if VB comes up with something that the IPB community also wants. I don't know if 'copy' is the right word to use lol, but something like this is common in all businesses.

Patience my friend. The bugs will be fixed no matter what. Also as noted, you shouldn't worry too much about the current versions, by no means are you suppose to use these ipb 3.0 beta versions on a live web site. The coding is the back-bone of this script, id expect that to be looked at before they worry about the skinning bugs. They are called beta simply because they are still work in progress obviously.
