This is a bug in RC1 that has been fixed. You should be able to select the other language however, and after that IPB will remember it as your language.

ACP > Look & Feel > Manage Languages > Localization Manager

I copy a new language pack then edit it;

Language Title : bbb
Language Locale : zh-TW
Display right to left? : No
Default Language? : Yes

But i link the board index, it still lock in the first language even i clear cookies of the browser.

I can set the second language as default in ACP, but no works in the board index.

If some group like guest that has no permission to reply the topic, it will be good to disable the [Reply] and [MultiQuote] function.

I think Aeolus is talking about the application tabs.

When i post a topic here, it showed Chinese.

I used Opera 9.64 + WinXP SP3.

Maybe the function will be included in IPB 4.0.0. ^_^!!!

It will be more popular to include two complete language.

One is English, the other is my local language.

Especially, when member post the title and detail description of a topic, he can type two different languages in one time.

There will be two blank field of Topic Title in order to type two different language, same as Topic Description and Topic detail.
