  1. Version 5 has been released and is available to all customers as of Tuesday last week.
  2. Hi @Cath Foster, If you are on Cloud, you can request the upgrade via the Client Area → Manage this purchase → Upgrade to Invision Community 5. If you are on Classic, you can simply download v5 via the Client Area → Manage this purchase → Download Invision Community 5.
  3. Hi @Henry Williams, This blog should have all the answers you seek about tagging on v5.
  4. They are correct. See what I did there? 😇
  5. It has been mentioned again, with the same response. Courses will not be available on Classic (self-hosted).
  6. Hi @Ibai, Reactions award reputation points to the author of the content. Each reaction can increase or decrease the author's reputation points total (or leave it unchanged). It is used on my community in the exact same way as here on Invision Community. Helpful provides a clear and definite answer to the topic starter's question or concern. We also take advantage of featuring the most helpful post when 5 or more people find that post helpful. This allows for new members and guests to find answers to questions quickly without having to read through too many posts, or where someone wants to avoid discussion and seek only the answer.

Hi @Square Wheels, You don't necessarily have stars in Unread Content, but using Invision Community as an example, you can filter the results to content you have started or content you have posted in. Failing that, the All Activity tab does have a small star icon at the beginning of topic titles for content you have posted in.
  8. Amazing news and congratulations to all! This is an incredible milestone and I look forward to what Invision Community brings in the future! This truly is the best community software on the market and all the dedication of your team, Matt. It does not and should not go unnoticed by your community (even the more outspoken ones). I have been on the ride since the very early days and I intend to stick around for many more years to come.
  9. Amazing news and congratulations to all! This is an incredible milestone and I look forward to what Invision Community brings in the future! It has been a pleasure being a part of the alpha and beta process, however little my contributions and/or bug tracking skills were. It has enriched my skills and the tools the software provides out of the box are perfect for so many different applications. At the end of the day, this is the best community software on the market and all the dedication of your team, Matt. It does not and should not go unnoticed by your community (even the more outspoken ones). I have been on the ride since the very early days and I intend to stick around for many more years to come.

    Not if you’re this car…

Hi @Aldro, Taken from the deprecation tracker: Status Updates - The profile status updates system is a holdover from decades ago and will be removed in Invision Community 5. Display Name for Login - The ability to use a display name as a log in is deprecated and will be removed. Using an email address as part of the log in process is more secure than using a publicly visible display name. Tagging - This has been overhauled as per Matt's blog entry here; Invision Community 5: Tagging Reinvented - Invision Community. Pages - This has also been overhauled as per Ehren's blog entry here; Invision Community 5: Page Builder - Invision Community. Display names definitely suit a purpose but do create an instant vulnerability as display names are available to anyone. The less information you offer on a silver platter, the better. Your members will adapt, and it will be business as usual. Not everyone will be happy when things are changed or removed, but there is always a thought process behind the decision to remove any feature from Invision Community. I think Matt said it best in a topic that has been discussed with one of your concerns already; if nothing changed, then we'd still be using this:
  12. Hi @John Placido, Did you use the Contact Us form to get in touch with Invision Community directly? Contact Us - Invision Community Tech support hours are from Monday to Friday between 9 am to 6 pm EST, and billing, sales and customer service hours are from Monday to Friday between 9 am to 5 pm EST. Someone will respond to this topic to assist you shortly though, whether it be a team member or someone from the community.

Yeah, I did miss that in your post from yesterday, sorry about that. 😇
  14. Upgrade went through perfectly on my end.
  15. Topic Summaries are available on Creator Pro (currently $149/month), whereas Assign Topics and Topic Summaries would be available on Business (currently at $549/month).

Are you on v4 or v5? I believe the feature is only available on v5 at this stage.

Hi @krishna.f, It is listed in the deprecation tracker and explained to be very limited and "breaks" conversation flow as it is not displayed in a normal order. Most clients have found the new Solved feature sees way more engagement from the community. Questions and Answer Forum Mode - Deprecation Tracker

  19. Received this error in my logs about 5 minutes ago. I was looking through the search settings in my AdminCP, but did not action or change these settings. From the System Logs: The URL of page the error occurred on was (please ask for link if required) lang_not_exists__ccfields_sg Backtrace: #0 /home/gary/japanesespitz/system/Node/Controller.php(137): IPS\Log::log() #1 /home/gary/japanesespitz/system/Dispatcher/Controller.php(139): IPS\Node\Controller->manage() #2 /home/gary/japanesespitz/system/Node/Controller.php(117): IPS\Dispatcher\Controller->execute() #3 /home/gary/japanesespitz/applications/downloads/modules/admin/downloads/fields.php(49): IPS\Node\Controller->execute() #4 /home/gary/japanesespitz/system/Dispatcher/Dispatcher.php(169): IPS\downloads\modules\admin\downloads\fields->execute() #5 /home/gary/japanesespitz/admin/index.php(15): IPS\Dispatcher->run() #6 {main} A new log is generated each time I access the URL the original log provides.
  20. Upgraded. Liking the small yet noticeable changes in the AdminCP! 😉
  21. Sorry Marc, just read your response. It was Australia Day over the weekend, so I haven’t had a chance to check Invision Community properly until now. The error was a once off and I am not getting new ones since. I haven’t noticed anything broken so we could probably get rid of this.
  22. Hi @My Sharona, If you click your display picture/name, you will find the ‘Mark all content as read’ function there.
  23. There sure is, @beats23. The link is in Matt’s topic; 5.0.0 Beta 12 - Release Notes v5.
