Yes it is - if I select the Global Hook option to on in settings and then under the message configure it to only appear in a couple of forum areas, it just appears everywhere. Its as if its global and ignores the setting.

Any update on a fix for these issues please? @Mike John

Hi @HeadStand I had this for version 3 and I am seriously considering purchasing it for version 4 however Im hesitant at the moment with the Future Development of Invision stating the following; Do we know if this is likely to be the same thing or similar? Appreciate that it's IPS but not sure if you have had discussions with them prior to writing the mod to ensure that it would be worth your while etc? Thanks in advance.

@Ryan H. Can I just ask - how is the plugin supposed to handle RSS imports where that forum that the thread is imported to is required to have tags - what is supposed to happen as I have a support ticket open with IPS at the moment regarding duplicate RSS topics being made many times over and @Ryan Ashbrook has posed the question;

I agree in some respects to the comments above although we have still seen a reasonable contribution rate but not to where it was before. It is a change that members just really need to become familiar with. I think your comments fully support our view that it would be great to display GC categories as a category on the main board index and integrate better. It really needs the ability to see latest post inancollab on the board index. Currently they are set several layers deep within the suite. It works perfectly but @Kevin Carwile it would really be awesome for you to find a way to integrate the collab categories as categories on the board index which means it has the flexibility that GC brings but makes content easily found.

Right i would need this to work in blogs in order to purchase. Please let me know if you add this.

@Mike John - Also if I try to get the message to just show in a specific forum utilising the global hook it just shows everywhere and not in the forums specified? Plus a language bug when adding Administration Permissions to the application

@Mike John There is a bug - on the field "Days Joined" within a message settings. The value for this field is defaulted to 5, if I enter 0 to disable this filed it does disable it however if I go back into that message and edit the text the message disappears, that is because when I check the message settings it has defaulted back to 5 again. If I change this value to 20 and save it applies that change and displays correctly but on re-editing the message in the future, the field value has again defaulted back to 5 so that is what is saved if you forget each time to go in and change it. Its not pulling the value from the database on edit despite the correct value being saved, it is defaulting to 5. Also @Mike John What is the difference between "Normal Block" and "Info Message" please?

Just a thought @onlyME it would be really useful if it could be set to just appear once after x number of page views or alternatively set to appear after x number of page views plus every x further pages viewed until x

@Kevin Carwile could the setting Max Members Per Collab be extended to control based on a collab basis within a category. So for example all collars under category A can currently be set with a maximum number of permitted members. The model we would like to adopt is that I could then change a specific collab within a category to increase that number (if they purchased extra credits) for example. Pretty much like the Chat module works on here from IPS. This would need to be an admin only feature though based on a specific collab to override the category setting. If its not admin only it could be controlled by roles and the permission configurations there to override what is shown in the main category. The plan being all users of a collab category get say 50 permitted members for FREE (This would be the category setting) User A is happy with that User B has maxed out and wants more users so makes a purchase in nexus (a product we set up for 100 user limit) and when this happens we can then manually visit that collab and extend User B's collab limits to 100 Clearly if that can be automated all the better and reduced back down if the renewal isn't paid but we are more than happy to manage that process manually.

I would like to see this become based on x number of page views - that way guests can read x number of pages before they get the popup and it can keep appearing every x number of pages until they register. That would be a real benefit. Could this functionality be added @onlyME

You could use the option to Login as them to process the Join Request on their behalf and assign them once they have joined.

The My Groups option would be a great addition and I would also like to see this functionality on a per category basis. Svit - there is already a sidebar block that allows latest collabs (groups) to show.

Hi @Adriano Faria I like the idea of this plugin but rather than Delete My Account I would love to see the option to Close my account, this would effectively leave all posts and content attributed to a particular member so it would not show as Guest but mean that the account is locked to further logins with a message saying your account is currently closed, - please click here to request the account be re-opened which would then send it for review by the admins and that request could be approved or denied. Probably a separate plugin to this although you may feel it is very similar hence posting it here. Best Wishes

Hi Kevin Sorry I was meaning more with custom blocks, so if I set up a block that pulls RSS feed that related to that collab I would like to only show it in that one and put a different RSS feed sidebar block in the others respectively

Hi @Kevin Carwile One of the big pushes from my community now that we are really utilising GC is that the sidebar currently is generic to all collabs which only allows for generic content. Have you any thoughts on how sidebar blocks could be collab specific so that the content in the sidebar is relevant to that collab area? Not sure how it could work, i guess it would need the default methodology that IPS deploys where each level of each application is considered a separate side bar to becoming each collab overview, collab forum view and each collab topic view would need to become unique as far as side bars are concerned. Not sure if this is achievable and it there could be a toggle switch to allow generic or make them individual? Look forward to your views. Thanks

@Vikestart - this was a bug on the last version - upgrade and its fixed.

Hi Kevin Could we possibly have a few other options as well; Abiity to choose how many collaborations appear in the list on the category overview on a per category basis. Ability to disable Collabs displaying on a members profile card or some way that they are truncated, again on a per category basis would be ideal as this list becomes quite long and messy. Latest post info on the category listing page with Collabs appearing in bold if they contain new content and total post stats within a collaboration on the category listing page just as forum categories work as an alternative layout to the existing to provide more flexibility and again layouts selected on a per category basis. Lastly a latest post sidebar block for posts from collabs to help integrate their content across the rest of the suite. Choice of which categories to include would be superb. Sorry for the wish list but I'm just wanting to make this more flexible. Thanks
