Where's the guide on how to set up a Facebook app, so users can log in and register? I can only find stuff about Facebook Pixel or something.

I am trying to gather a group of active or interested parties that use My Football app and would like to see it re-released for IPS 4.7. I have found a developer willing to take on the work. The cost would be split between those who help crowdfund the new application. Those that do, will be promised a free upgrade to 5.0 as part of the deal. I am in the process of messaging known users. The benefit of crowdfunding is reducing the upfront cost. Yet to also further improve on the ideas I had at the beginning, plus those from many users over time. This time, the app can be used for any team sports, but it's important to get involved from the ground up. This will allow the user to customize the app according to their needs. This app is unlikely to be forgotten if we don't have it remade. ---- My thoughts are still Newbie and his family; I personally won't forget what a generous and kind person that I got to know over the years.

Is there a task that is supposed to be running to correct/update the most online stat? This has been happening for a while now. In hindsight I should've asked when I noticed but hey ho.

@InvisionHQ: Please consider adding an option to fill rows, rather than show x amount of users. Now IPS is responsive, it makes more sense to say fill 4 rows. If there's space for 10, it would be 10x4 On mobiles if it can only show 3 per line, it would be 3x4 No empty user space. This would be awesome for 4.7 updates. Please consider it.

@Adriano Faria: How do I target the notification icon only for the linked accounts? I would like to hide it, but so far it only hides the site notifications too when I have tried.

@Marc Stridgen: Has the edit etc buttons been moved to the menu item with 3 dots in the top right panel? Can they be re-added to the post view easily?

Aye, I know things go wrong. That's totally fine, I'm not annoyed with IPS but the darn thing going wrong in the first place. 👍

I've solved it myself by rechoosing IP.Pages as the default app. It's a bit annoying, but I got there. I've never had to juggle so much with any previous updates. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Before the update, my Pages URLs looked like this. mydomain.com mydomain.com/home/ (for the articles - IP.Pages created) Now it's mydomain.com - "The area you are attempting to access is currently offline. Please try again later." So, I switched /home/ to /articles/ but now I can set my homepage??? I have: mydomain.com/home/ mydomain.com/articles/ I want /home/ to be mydomain.com How do I do this?

Unfortunately, I fear we've lost a great part of the community here at IPS to some form of illness. When I asked Newbie LAC to build me this application, he listened and delivered one of the best third-party applications. His support, knowledge, improvements and general approach will be missed. It's difficult to type this, as I still have thoughts of Newbie returning. I still need this application and I have found a developer willing to remake it from scratch. Would anyone be willing to share its development cost? If we can do this, it saves it becoming custom. 👍

There's nothing new regarding @newbie LAC's health. I personally fear the worst. Newbie wouldn't just abandon his work, plus I am of the mindset that he would've provided some sort of update if he could. We can only speculate, but I hope he's actually doing well or at least being taken care of. Maybe someone from IPS @Matt @Lindy @Charles could make some formal comment. I am seeing a lot of comments on his resources about updates, along with frequent messages to myself. The main concern is Newbie's health, perhaps even sorting something out to support him if he is having treatment of a serious nature. Resources don't remotely come near to life, but it's not knowing which makes things worst. I don't think having resources remade would be a solution that is fair, without understanding what the situation may be. PS. Perhaps the resources should be closed within the forum from comment? There's only so many times I, or another concerned customer tries to remind people that Newbie hasn't been well and was in hospital (as his signature stated).

It does my head in the amount of invoices that are generated but actually aren't paid, I think this suggestion would eliminate the issue - especially when guests do it. Serious buyers will put in their name/address etc So, many guests don't even bother and there's no way to remind someone who doesn't leave any information - so what's the point in the generated invoice?

I'll test and send over a video once I notice a clear behaviour pattern.

Sometimes I find that when I select to post as another account, it will just post under my default one. I have to refresh the browser myself to get it to work. Even after refreshing it doesn't always post as whom I intend.

There won't be any updates for the time being, Newbie was hospitalized and, it seems a lot more serious considering he hasn't returned. If he was able, he would reply. Unfortunately, I fear he's passed on. 😞

Weird, I wasn't aware that 7.2 was the minimum PHP version. Have you tried proceeding with 7.2 and, then using MultiPHP to drop back to 7.1? If not, I'm not sure its possible. 😞

IPS 4.6 should work fine with PHP 7.1
