  • Account Settings page throws error.

Heya, I've tried my currently "being edited" theme, along with a "clean" theme.

I also reinstalled the whole forums to see if this was a legacy ipb4 file getting caught in the loop.

    When loading the settings page

    https://forums.domain.ext/settings/
(or clicking username at top, then selecting Account Settings)

    I get this error:

[[Template core/front/system/settings is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]]

Is there anything specific you had just added, or switched on?

Unfortunately not, i'm going to clean install and see if that resolves.

As an update, this install was V4 updated to V5.

Clean install will be clean V5

Please let us know if you see this on a fresh install

Clean install works fine, so must be something from upgrading from V4 to V5(beta).

If you want a copy of anything, I have that install backed up (well files are in a /temp/ folder and the database is intact)

If you could provide access to your v4 instance so I can take a look, I might be able to determine what you have switched on there that would affect this area, that isnt switched on with a default v5
