Guidelines

1. Support

Information, guidance or other material of any kind posted on the Community (“Content”) is not official support provided by IPS, unless otherwise specified in Content. For official support with product related, account related and payment related questions, please submit a ticket via the Client Area.

 

2. Content, moderation and reporting.

You are responsible for all Content that you post on the Community. IPS assumes no responsibility for such Content or any Content posted by other users.

IPS reserves the right to moderate the activity on the Community and may remove or edit any Content for any or no reason, including, but not limited to, Content that, in IPS’ sole discretion, violates these Community Terms.

IPS may remove or edit such Content without notification to the responsible user.

Remember that use of the Community is independent of any purchase with IPS and your privilege to use the Community may be revoked with or without cause, in IPS’ sole discretion.

All Content submitted to the Community must be in full compliance with US law.

3. Prohibited Content

To maintain a respectful and inclusive community, the following content is prohibited. Always use an appropriate and respectful language when you post information in the Community. Avoid racist, sexist, abusive, harassing, defamatory, pornographic, threatening, obscene or otherwise offensive language that could be considered detrimental to other users. Discussion of religion and politics in any form is strictly prohibited. The following are also expressly prohibited.

Hateful Conduct and Harassment
Hateful conduct is any content or activity that promotes, encourages, or facilitates discrimination, denigration, objectification, harassment, or violence based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, medical condition, physical characteristics and is prohibited. Any hateful conduct is considered a zero-tolerance violation and all accounts associated with such conduct will be indefinitely suspended.

Harassment is any content or activity that attempts to intimidate, degrade, abuse, or bully others, or creates a hostile environment for others, and is prohibited. Depending on the severity of the offense, your account may be indefinitely suspended on the first violation.

Unauthorized Sharing of Private Information
It is prohibited to share any content that may reveal personal information about individuals, or their private property, without permission. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Sharing personally identifiable information (including real name, email, location, etc.)
  • Sharing content that violates another's reasonable expectation of privacy.

4. Limited license

You grant the IPS a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, make available to the public, publish, translate, create derivative works from and distribute any Content or feedback that you post on or otherwise provide through the Community and to exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to such Content or feedback, without any attribution to you.

5. Term and termination

These Community Terms will become effective when you create an IPS Community account and will remain in effect until you terminate your account or the earlier termination by IPS thereof.

You may terminate your IPS Community account at any time by contacting IPS via the Client Area. Please note that if your Community account is terminated, for any reason, Content that you have posted may be kept in the Community.

6. Intellectual property

IPS respects intellectual property rights, and expects you to do the same. Please note therefore that the Community is the property of IPS by intellectual property rights (including but not limited to copyright) and that you do not have a right to use the Community in any manner not covered by these Community Terms.

7. Privacy

When you sign up for a use the Community, IPS and its core providers may gather, store, share and use your personal data. The privacy and security of your user data is - and will remain - IPS’ highest priority. You can read more about our privacy practices in the Privacy Policy, which includes information about your privacy, your rights and how to exercise them.

8. Miscellaneous

IPS may change the Guidelines at any time, at its sole discretion. Any material changes may be communicated to you and your acceptance of and/or continued use of the Community after such notification of change will constitute your acceptance of such changes. Please do not use the Community if you do not agree to the new Terms.

Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or in connection with the Community Terms and Guidelines will be construed subject to the courts within the Commonwealth of Virginia.
