@beats23 In our test-installation (not the actual site) I tested to embed PDFs in the Bulk Mail editor (i.e. from the Admin Dashboard) and that worked well.

However, it seems one big fix was not in 5.0.5, adding an image in the editor and have a URL connected to that (in the Bulk Mail editor, or when starting a forum thread)

Do you have a link to the bug report on that one? I can then take a look to see where its at for you :)

Embeing a PDF file, for example, https://my-site.com/uploads/pdf_files/radio-manual.pdf in the editor. The PDF file will not display due to default sandbox restrictions set my IPS dev for PDF files. It was mentioned that IPS was looking into it. Five releases have passed, and I see no mention of this issue or a solution.

Having an update from IPS about embedding PDF files with the editor would be nice. This issue restriction is causing a lot of grief on my website.

This is what the PDF file looks like in the web browser when embedded with the editor.

It's something we're still discussing. It means opening up permissions on iframes and we want to think about that carefully.

Yes. Do grant the admin the ability and authority to override the PDF file iframe restrictions, accompanied by a clear warning about the implications of this action.

I'll wait some more for a solution👍.

Your site appears to be online at present. Have you since resolved this?

Please ensure you are taking regular backups, and always backup before an upgrade. This is especially important when you are upgrading to a beta. By definition, these may fail

Yes, it's resolved. I will backup before a beta upgrade. Thanks.

It works fine for me on both pages, with the hover text showing in front.

I upgraded, but I still can't change the name of the badges; it's still bugged.

But at least it solved the problem of creating a step in registration profile completion.

Didnt quite make the cut off that one, but it does look to be resolved, so would expect it will be in 5.0.6 :)

Yes, embedding of PDFs does not work, only attaching PDFs to a post.
