In v5, the Topic Feed Widget shows the name/avatar of the person starting the thread, even if the thread is replied by others.

Would be great if there was an option that topic feed widget could display the name/avatar of the latest contributing person instead.

I think this has always been the case for the topic feed. You want to try the latest post Widget. This should get you want you want.

Edit: Nevermind, it shows all posts not only the last one of a topic.

Yeah. The topic feed widget has always shown the topic starter. I even have a modification for v4 to show the last poster instead.

That's the problem. We have a handmade block with last poster icon, thread title, last poster name, last post time and number of posts - and every thread only once. I hope I can find out how to do this for v5.

When I used the “latest post widget”, there was immediate grumbling from users.
