I'm installing V5. In the MySQL Server Details It wants a name of a Database. What kind of information is in the database?

This would be the name of the database you want to use for your installation of v5.

Are you upgrading from v4 to v5 or setting up a completely new community?

I'm setting up a completely new community. Not using v4 at all. Just v5. After the setup is done would I ever be using the database again?

In that case, you need to get that information from your hosting. Or, if you have access to a control panel (cPanel, Webmin, DirectAdmin, Plesk, etc), you must create the database through it and copy the name you enter there.

Creating a database needs field names, types, and size. what do I base the database on? Would my host have the knowledge on what I would need? My host is SiteGround.

You would just create the database, not the tables.

Assuming they use cPanel, go to Databases -> MySQL Databases.

Create a name for the database, then Create Database.

Add a user (which would be you) and associate it with the new database you have created. These are now the credentials you use to install v5.

To be honest, if you are struggling with this, you really need someone helping you to manage your site, or to be on a managed environment like cloud
