Please test this on a default unaltered theme first of all, and let us know if you are still seeing any issues

I'm not sure if you're experiencing any outage, but your forum is taking 30 seconds to load. Please verify this. The issues occurred suddenly; nothing has been edited in the template for a month.

We are aware of the speed issues on our site. 

I appreciate what you are saying there, but that being the case, the same could be said for anything else causing the problem

The default template also has errors. Two errors.

Could you please clarify what is being done when receiving this? It looks like an image is being resized but has invalid properties.

I have no idea, errors are being generated by the guest. They keep increasing from minute to minute. They're almost 10MB now. See for yourself.

That's a hacker-spammer attack. 

I've fixed here recently a bug for the next release.. I'll take a look @Grafidea just to confirm that it's the same and not something else.

This is an error that's triggered by some spammer. Can we block the IP from the IPS panel?

The software is not the place where you would want to block/ban an IP address.  If they reach the software, the request still has to be executed.  You would want to block them either at the network layer with a WAF (like Cloudflare) or at the server layer with a server firewall (CSF or .htaccess blocking).

Is it?

After blocking the spammer's IP, the errors in the event log stopped. The rest must be verified by the IPS team to see if this is an error that needs to be fixed.
