Invision Community 5: A video walkthrough creating a custom theme and homepage By Matt Thursday at 04:02 PM
Allen Bradford Posted March 17 Posted March 17 (edited) I just noticed a notice on my Board for a Patch. It says to go to System-Support and apply the Patch from top left box. Ive gone to AdminCP -System-Support and can’t for the life of me find said Patch box. Assistance please. Edited March 17 by Allen Bradford
Jeffrey Roberts Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Thank you. I had the exact same question. Allen Bradford 1
Allen Bradford Posted March 17 Author Posted March 17 (edited) There it is, that little bugger…I was looking for a “top left box”. Thanks for prompt response. Edited March 17 by Allen Bradford Jeffrey Roberts 1

Randy Calvert Posted March 18 Posted March 18 I can replicate this as well. I installed the patch and still am prompted each time the update task runs to install it. There are no available updates/patches to install.
Marc Posted March 18 Posted March 18 If there is no fix button, you have already applied it. 🙂 BakuEdi 1

Marc Posted March 18 Posted March 18 This is because its an announcement that there is a patch (generally for people) rather than something specific for your own site
BakuEdi Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Just now, Marc Stridgen said: This is because its an announcement that there is a patch (generally for people) rather than something specific for your own site I clicked on X and canceled the notification. Thank you @Marc Stridgen
Marc Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Just looking at this, you need to ensure you have actually applied the patch. Go to /admin/upgrade and run that through. If it states you are up to date, all good
Allen Bradford Posted March 19 Author Posted March 19 Support, I successfully applied the patch yesterday. Today I’m suddenly seeing the same (orange) warning message coming up about a Patch for 4.7.16. This time there is no fix on the Support page. Input?
Marc Posted March 19 Posted March 19 That would indicate you didnt run through the patch completely. As mentioned above, go to /admin/upgrade and complete the upgrade there
Emil 2023 Posted March 20 Posted March 20 what if the patch message is displaying but there is no action to 'fix this' (Running latest version)
Marc Posted March 20 Posted March 20 Please read my message above. As mentioned there you need to run the upgrader
Allen Bradford Posted March 20 Author Posted March 20 (edited) To muddy the waters…Marc. As previously Posted I ran the Patch fix and not long after that the orange warning message to run the fix reappeared. But there was no fix in the Support area. You responded to go to /admin/upgrade and finish running it there. I was just heading over to AdminCP to do that but noticed that the orange warning for the Patch has now disapeared from my home page and from the AdminCP-System-Support area so did not run the Upgrader. Does that mean I am all set? Edited March 20 by Allen Bradford
Jim M Posted March 20 Posted March 20 If you go to /admin/upgrade and there are no upgrades available for you to run, you are all set.
