Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
PinPics Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Just got our IPS loaded yesterday and beginning to work in there. Whenever I try to post a first blog entry, there is an error: Had my server guy look at it, but he says this: It looks like that form should submit an array to the processing page but it actually submitted a string which is what caused it to fail. Thanks in advance for help!
Jim M Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Do you have any third party applications/plugins/themes installed? If so, please disable them and try again. Please also ensure that you're running PHP 8.0 or PHP 8.1. PHP 8.2 is not yet supported.
PinPics Posted September 2, 2023 Author Posted September 2, 2023 Hi! No, we're not running anything extra at all -- apps, plugins or themes. Only what came with the IPS. Here's what we're running (v8.1.7):
Jim M Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Keep in mind that what is running for your CLI may not be what the directory is running on your server. You can check PHP version in ACP > Support.

Jim M Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section. We look forward to further assisting you.

Hopefully, it's fixed. 🙂 Thanks so much!
PinPics Posted September 3, 2023 Author Posted September 3, 2023 I've found that a similar error is also happening when trying to submit an event into the Calendar:
Marc Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 Please check this again. Your login does not accept a display name, which is what you have provided. We also need full FTP details
PinPics Posted September 4, 2023 Author Posted September 4, 2023 I've added the extra sign-in info in the notes, so that should be working. Sorry, but this is the first time I've had to configure this! My server guy says you will need to supply your static IP for him to set up the SFTP.
Marc Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 I have messaged you the relevant details there. Please let us know once here once you have made the nessesary access arrangements PinPics 1
PinPics Posted September 4, 2023 Author Posted September 4, 2023 Hi! Thanks so much for your patience while I got this all figured out. Fingers crossed, but I think it's all updated correctly now. 🙂 Thanks for your help!

PinPics Posted September 4, 2023 Author Posted September 4, 2023 I'm sorry, I was responding to Marc above -- I think I have everything fixed for them to be able to access the site. The problem is still there. 7 hours ago, Marc Stridgen said: I have messaged you the relevant details there. I know you guys are probably swamped after the long weekend, but I just want to make sure that the updates did work and that you have access. Thanks.
Marc Posted September 6, 2023 Posted September 6, 2023 Please could you just upgrade to the latest before we do anything else, and test that again? PinPics 1
PinPics Posted September 6, 2023 Author Posted September 6, 2023 I can do that, but I was, frankly, waiting to see how it goes for others before doing that. I don't want to end up with an error, so I thought it would be safer to wait a few days for the upgrade. Do you think I should be okay doing it now?
