The SQL Toolbox was removed in 4.7.0 Really !!! not used that often but was still useful and was quicker to access from forum admin than login to web hosting. Would be interesting to hear why that support option was removed. Thank you both for your prompt reply
SeNioR- Posted August 3, 2023 Posted August 3, 2023 If I had to guess it would be for security reasons.

Generally people shouldn't be manually doing things with the database anyway, but if this is something you need to do for some reason, you should really use the correct tools, which would lay with your hosting.

Yes i can see the security reason, i really only used it for basic management. when a table needed fixing after a upgrade as it was quick to use. Was also quick to check after upgrades.

You really shouldnt be 'fixing' anything in the database directly. If this is the case, it would be better to report any issue so we can then resolved it so it doesnt happen

No used it for a while now though as upgrades seem to go without issue (touch wood) 🙂 sobrenome 1
Marc Posted August 3, 2023 Posted August 3, 2023 Ah, those would still show in your support area and give the opportunity to run them automatically. If you see them repeatidly though, you should report them 🙂 bearback 1
