Hi! We'd like to alert all new registrants to the fact that they should update their display name before making their first post. There are two ways we could accomplish this: Send an automatic private message from the administrator to all new users at the point of registration Display a reminder above the box that a user makes a post (either reply or new topic) However, I can't figure out how to do either of these! Any suggestions for which of these would be best to implement, and how to do it?

Send an automatic private message from the administrator to all new users at the point of registration
Display a reminder above the box that a user makes a post (either reply or new topic)

However, I can't figure out how to do either of these! Any suggestions for which of these would be best to implement, and how to do it?
