dutchsnowden Posted January 11, 2022 Posted January 11, 2022 (edited) I have one user called "X X L" with spaces. But I cannot find it in the @ list when tagging it in messages. How do you tag such a user with spaces? What separator is the editor using for the next word? Can someone clarify? If I simply use search, I can find it: Neither I can send messages. His PM inbox is clear and working. And not disabled. Is this a bug in software? Edited January 11, 2022 by dutchsnowden

I go to profile and click send message: But as soon as I click send: In ACP I can find it and no restrictions: If HE sends a message, it works and I can reply to THAT and works. The PM issue there, you have a restriction somewhere or they have their messenger switched off With the auto populate on tagging, it shows the first few matches. If its not there, you would need to continue typing, which you havent there

The moment I type last second space, nothing is shown, the selection window is completely closed. I assume there is something going on here, maybe two spaces in a name bug, or something else? Definitely a problem. I assume the two problems I explained (PM and name tag) are having the same root cause. As for the PM, if he send PM to me works just fine, reply too. So there cannot be restrictions. It works. But I also checked thoroughly in Admin CP. But if I initiate to send a PM, the error message is like above.
dutchsnowden Posted January 11, 2022 Author Posted January 11, 2022 (edited) To recap, this user called "X X L" has no restrictions in Admin CP. zero. messenger inbox not disabled can be found in Admin CP can be found in normal search members can send PM can receive PM if reply to his own PMs. cannot receive PM sent from any other users cannot be found in name tag As an odity, here on this forum, if I type same user name, just for the fun of it, the tag search window is never closed, even if no match found.
