Am I missing something that this block "cannot be shown"?

Did you click the 'Edit' button and configure it?

If yes, did you then save the page and see no block?

If yes, then you have nothing currently popular.

If that doesn't match up, explain in more detail what the problem is.

    I did click edit, configured number and visibility. What do you mean by "I have nothing currently popular"? Do I need to mark content as popular or something?

    Popular (hot) topics are topics with many replies within X minutes, configurable in your ACP. It won’t show if you haven’t topics like that at the moment.

    Thanks a lot, I adjusted the number and the time in ACP so let's see. I had no clue how this works.

    Is there similar to "last 5 posts" in blocks?

    If you go to this section in the admin CP

    Community -> Forums -> Settings

    You will see under the 'Topic Settings' Section you have 'Popular now'. Only topics that match the criteria you set there will show up within the block. So for example, I have mine set to 3 posts within 30 minutes. So only topics which have had 3 posts within the last 30 minutes would show up in my block

    Hi ! I got the same problem but if i change these settings, it never works.

    For example : 2 posts within 1440 minutes. Nothing but there are lot of new messages.

    Could I please confirm, there are topics which have had 2 posts within that period that are not showing? I wanted to ensure you understand how that works there

    Yes there are lot of new messages within that period. I dont understand why it doesn't display.

    I removed that block by mistake and now i can't add it.

    OK i understand my problem. It seems the "Popular now" block never worked on my forum.

    My previous block was "Topics feed" with "Sort by : Recently updated".
