Posted October 26, 20213 yr One customer ask me how he can update his credit card information on the forum side. I could not see a way for him to do it but I could add it under manage in the admin control panel. I s there a way for him to do it on the forum side in the customer settings somewhere? Or, must all this be done on the processor side such as Stripe or Paypal. I could not find any info on how the customer can update it. Hi Keith, I got a new credit card and would like to change what you have on file to this new card. How do I go about doing that? I can't find where it is on the BTC. Quote
October 26, 20213 yr They should have that option in their client area of your site. (https://domain.com/clientarea/) On that page use the menu: MyDetails -> Payment Methods. On the next page you should be able to add a credit card (and delete any old one). Are they not seeing that on your site?
October 28, 20222 yr Author No this has occurred again they do not have an option to update how do i enable it on there side i use Stripe and Paypal as payment methods
October 28, 20222 yr Community Expert It’s a global option, not related to a purchase. If you don’t see it in the menu, you need to add those options through the menu manager.
October 28, 20222 yr Community Expert It seems you may have changed from the default options there. As mentioned above, you need to re-add this using the menu manager. It's the "Payment methods" item you need to re-add
