nodle Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 I have noticed not only on my own forum, but on the default forum that some of the stock emoji are either missing or do not render. The just show little squares. See screenshot below. Using latest Edge browser. Anyone else notice this?
CoffeeCake Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 (edited) Can confirm, on latest Windows 10 build and latest Chrome build. Edit: Appears to be an issue with Emoji font render in general. See: https://emojipedia.org/smiling-face-with-tear/ Edited October 1, 2021 by CoffeeCake
Marc Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 Indeed it looks to be an OS issue, rather than one our end unfortunately. I can see it on my windows 10 machine, but it does seem whatever the issue is, they have resolved it on windows 11. Not much help at the moment I know, but at least you know they will resolve it eventually nodle 1
Solution Yamamura Posted October 1, 2021 Solution Posted October 1, 2021 Microsoft just hasn't updated its Emoji font yet. You can use Twitter emoji to show all the images. nodle 1
