Posted January 2, 20214 yr Hi there, Due the problem of spambots that (can) create new members, or real persons from Asian country's try to create spam-posts/topics i've set the new member approval/registration to manual/by admin/mod. The problem/question is, can i get an notification-email if a new member is waiting for approval?
January 2, 20214 yr Community Expert Solution Yes, on ACP go to Notifications Settings and find A new member requires admin validation on Member Accounts. On a side note, take a look at this plugin: It can save you some time.
January 3, 20214 yr Author thx, i bought the plugin only i can't install it in the Marketplace because it says Your license key is not recognized. You can try to refresh your license data or enter a new key. If you cannot resolve the problem, please contact technical support for assistance.

That’s a license/marketplace thing.

January 3, 20214 yr I cannot find this setting anywhere. If I read this correctly it's ACP--> Members--> Notifications? I use the setting requiring Admin Approval but I see no setting for me to receive an email when someone registers. I am currently still using version 4.4.10

January 3, 20214 yr Yes, that is my setting but it says nothing about sending an email to the administrator. Only the person registering.
