Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Jordan Miller Posted September 16, 2020 Posted September 16, 2020 Hey fam, quick question for you guys. So, one of my biggest insecurities with upgrading from 4.4 to 4.5 is the ability for new members to sign in with Facebook, Twitter and/or Google. Wondering if anyone has experienced any hiccups with this? Or did it work just fine after the upgrade. For me, it's been a very useful took and I'd love to keep that momentum. Wanted to see what your guys' thoughts are. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
Larry Posted September 16, 2020 Posted September 16, 2020 Worked fine following the upgrade. I have not encountered any issues with the social logins on 4.5 on my community. Jordan Miller 1
CoffeeCake Posted September 16, 2020 Posted September 16, 2020 So far, so good. The IPS Spam Defense tool has a new AI feature that prevents registrations from fans of Brittney Spears. A++++ I jest, I jest. Afrodude and Jordan Miller 2

SC36DC Posted September 17, 2020 Posted September 17, 2020 I didn't even implement the social login feature until AFTER I updated to 4.5.2, and everything is working fine! Jordan Miller 1
