Merging Two Boards Together

We have two boards on the same server running the same IPS version - where's the convertor / instructions on how to merge them together?

You can export and import members easily via Admin CP. I'm not sure but I *think* you can merge content with the Converter.

@Adriano Faria is right, you can use our Converter application to do this. Please be aware that it will only convert 'core' and 'forum' content however.

This works just like any other conversion, so you'll need to make sure that you have the Converter application installed:-

You should definitely try it but using converters I managed to merge a vbulletin and a phpbb.

Users with the same e-mail are just merged. The ones (username, password, avatars...) from the first migration (or the instance you are migrating to) are the ones that are kept.

Is there a way to merge gallery then if not included in the converter? Why are the other apps not supported with the converter? Not enough demand?

No, not really. You could maybe do something with a custom script and the REST API, but a converter would be the better method. But you're right, we didn't get any demand for Gallery, so we didn't implement that. If you're interested in converting Gallery, I would suggest emailing our sales team, we may be able to sort something out.
