I see IPS url does not have the www. it's listed as https://invisioncommunity.com and not https://www.invisioncommunity.com.

Is there any SEO, google or other benefits for not having the www. on the url?

 

 

 

It keeps those darn www people off the site.  They're nothing but trouble.

AFAIK there is no benefit in using www or not using it, but regarding seo you shouldn't have both.

Yeah, it's really just more personal preference.

There is absolutely no SEO benefit to either. Google does not care. The only thing that's important is that you choose one and stick with it.

There is a slight technical advantage to using www if you have multiple subdomains, but for most people it doesn't matter and it is again entirely a personal preference.
