About This File

Are you looking for staff? Developers? Designers? Or anything else? This application will help admins/moderators to find people to help in their boards.

Here's a quick rundown of some of the features for this resource:

• Extra Fields
• Module to add Positions on ACP (moderator, webdesigner, developer, etc)
• Ability to automatically move the "winner" member to a chosen group (you inform the group when you're adding the application record)
• Ability to restrict the application by: Content count, Reputation points/likes, Number of days as member, Minimum age and groups
• Ability to inform how many places the position has. Example: you can create an application record to "hire" 3 moderators.
• Module on ModeratorCP to view all pending records from all applications
• Compatible with most important features from IPS 4.2 (Recommended Comments, Content Message, Reactions, Member History, Richer Embeds, etc.)
• Fully integrated to the framework: tag system, follow system, report system, search system, activity streams, share Links, etc.
• Moderator actions on applications, comments and reviews
• Moderator permission to approve/reject applications
• Ability to create RSS feeds from member applications
• Etc.

Probably due to lazy loading. Anyway, both issues won’t stop the app from working. I’ll fix them in next version.

I have a small question or feature suggestion.
For each position you can enter a description of what this position is about. This description has it's styling in the detailed view while it has just a plain text description in the overview of all positions (which you can expand).

Would it be possible or would it be a good idea to have an additional and short "teaser" text where you enter just a short description, which is displayed while viewing all positions as all the markdown / styling like lists is lost in the overview. When viewing one position in particular we could then use the more detailed text with lists and styling like bold or italic text and links, etc.

Yeah, I can add this in next version, no ETA yet. I will wait a few weeks to see if something comes up.... then I'll add it.

Is it something i did or not doing that stopped the images from showing up on the front end of the application?

even when you click edit, and look where you uploaded the image, it will show a 0 and no images, but the file name

The welcomer was the first app i did month ago, and the image shows

but even on that one, when you click edit, the image is gone, and 0 B and the file name shows

Would it be possible to add the option for guests to be able to apply to a application 

 

We have a application to join FGN, and not everyone wants to have to make a account, they are just applying for our Clan side and it doesn't use the site at all, but i still want to use the pro look of your app instead of a google form or a wordpress plugin

 so i guess this would fall into the "Post before registering"? i think

No. PBR is to create the item, the open position in this case. Apply requires a member ID.

So i need to make an announcement banner on the specific application telling the "Guest" what they will need to do and a basic reason "why"

Extra fields won't show up for me. The only thing that shows when a user attempt to make an application is the description box.

Also, is there an ability to take the application record and create a new topic, much like how creating a new Application behaves.

 

I have a problem, I can edit applications, but they cannot be saved.

If I delete applications, they are not completely gone, they will be displayed in red for another month.

Yes, that's how it works. If you delete ANY content item (open position, topic, downloads file, gallery image, etc.), it will show like that for moderators who can view deleted content. Regular members won't see it.

You can view the deleted content on Moderator CP -> Deleted Content. Once you delete it from there, it will completely disappear. 30 days is the number of days (setting on ACP) to get completely deleted. In your image, see the message when you hovered the trash icon.
