Shorten Hyperlinks in Posts?

Hello everyone, I was wondering if maybe I'm overlooking something. On other sites using different software (vBulletin in particular), I've noticed that when you post a long hyperlink in a post, it shortens it by either (a) using "..." or (b) changes the link to the page title the link goes to.

Is this a built-in feature for IPB? If not, is there a modification I can't seem to locate?
