Ads blocks on side bar

Quick question about ads. I'm trying to add multiple ads blocks with different advertisers but I'm having issues. Only the first 300x250 ad block seems to work (I put two ads in that one). but none of the rest are working. do I need to put all the ads in that one block for the side bar? i'd like to be able to have an ad, then some content like popular users, then more ads. All of them are enabled but i don't see the other ad block I set up. 

Is there a good add-on to help with these ads because this seems a bit confusing so far.
