Pre-authentication

Hello,

In your experience, is it possible to pre-authenticate a user when displaying the forum?

Scenario, a user is in a mobile app and his or her credentials are valid within the app, we then open an in-app-browser and sign-in the user using these credentials into the forum. How to do this, if possible at all?
