Commerce Product Renewal Start/End dates

Hello,

The problem I am running into with Commerce is that we have product of "subscription" type that runs over a very specific period (calendar year), so when people "renew" at different time of year, the expiration should always be at the end of the period (it might be 12 months if they sign up on Jan 1st; it might be 6 months if they sign up on Jul 1st; etc). It would be great if the system supports these kind of time range restrictions.

Also, it would be good if you can define specific periods during which the renewal product is being sold - example, put on sale only for the first 6 months of the calendar year and then hide it until the end of the year when the renewal time comes around.
