In Commerce, there is the ability to use custom fields for products. However, what it lacks is the ability to provide a regex or other form of validation - something that is actually present for the user profiles custom fields such as about me? If someone is able to essentially incorporate this functionality into the Commerce side of things, so products can have restrictions on what can be entered into their custom fields, I will be willing to negotiate a price for it.

Above you are able to see the differences between what should in theory be the same. There are no options for max length, a regex, or display format in the commerce section.
