Community in the Cloud online visitors?

I'm looking at the plans in the Community in the Cloud page and can someone tell me, if you set your forum up for members only, the "account required" page that people see on the domain, does every view of that page count as online visitors? I'm asking because of spam bots, account flooding and determined malicious pranksters who can run a person's number into three digits if they're intent on it.

If the site is set up for registered members only, visitors can't look at the content or the index page even.
