Desktop version on mobile

Is it possible to have the option to use a desktop version of the forum on mobile like on IPB 3.4.x? The mobile theme is already very useful, but members of my forum have expressed a want to be able to switch to desktop. I use the "Request desktop site" on Android but that doesn't work.

Create a copy of the default theme and title it 'Desktop View' then disable the responsiveness option for the theme.  You'll have let your users know to use the 'Desktop View' theme but it will work as you expect it to, always showing the desktop version.
