Missing Widget, when not in dev?

So, I've built my own widget (plugin with simple block widget, nothing fancy). Everything is ok, till I turn off the development mode - my widget then disappears (it is enabled in the Plugins menu, but I cannot put it on forums page).

I have also discovered that my plugin's JS files are not included when I turn off the development mode, it seems that there needs to occur some build process - I've tried running several tasks in Admin Tasks menu, but these don't bring expected results.
