Extra field values in topics

I have a custom field setup on my downloads, I am using check boxes for selection.

When I select the 'include field in topics' setting I can fill out the display format box, I currently have this filled in:

<strong>{title}:</strong> {content}

The problem is that the above outputs the title correctly but the content outputs:

0,1,2,3

Which is when the 4 options are checked, I was expecting the result to be my actual option names comma separated, these seem to be array values or similar.

How can I get the option name to output?
