chilihead Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 In Blogs settings, there are 0 tag settings. Not even on/off. So everything is inherited globally, meaning... With tags on globally set to open system, tags are on for blogs, no way to turn them off. This is a problem if you don't want blog tags. With tags on globally set to closed system, tags are off for blogs. No way to turn them on or enter the defined tags (specifically for blogs) unless you use the global closed system definitions box which activates them. The global tags box is supposed to be overridden at the app level like for forums, databases, etc., what if those tags do not fit blogs? No way to change. And again, no way to turn tags off is you use the global defined tags for forums and want blog tags off so you would be forced to use defined tags when you don't want to. No prefix control. This is all beside the point that tags should not have global-only settings, and you should be able to set open/closed min/max per app and per forum or database. But Blogs don't even have a tags on/off setting like forums and databases. This is in a forum/database/download category: Can use tags? On/Off Can set tag prefixes? On/Off Defined Tags Where is this in Blogs? Bug? (must be!) Thanks

Forums, databases, and download categories all have the above tags setting but Blogs is missing it and has 0 settings with no control. To the tracker... Reported
