XML-RPC replacement in IPS4?

While testdriving and translating IPS i couldn't find the XML-RPC feature that we had in IPB3.x. Is there an alternative in IPS4? If yes, where can i find information?

I used the XML-RPC api to implement some stuff in an other CMS (for example to display latest topics in a Joomla module). I can't upgrade community forums cause it would break those modules. Hope there is an alternative for the old XML-RPC api

XML-RPC is must have! A my portal (on Drupal) was heavy integrated with IPS3, so i cannot upgrade to ips4.
