Replying to a Reply - Quotes Suggestion

When replying to a post, it is often desireable to reply to a reply, so quoting the reply indicates/clarifies what you are referring to, but long quotes clog up the system.

I thought it would be useful to have an option which instead of the "quote" one says "reply to this" and when you select that, a link appears (maybe even a button) above your reply which has the explanation: "This is a reply to this post/thread. Read the original text here..." which would be a lot lighter (I imagine) than long quotes, but would help to define conversations, especially if there are many comments etc
