Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted January 31, 201114 yr It should be easier to rename, reorder, and hide navigation tabs without having to edit code in various places. We should also be able to create new navigation tabs and point them to any URL we want, while having them highlight themselves properly just like all the other main tabs. I think this would make life much easier for many of us. Thank you.
February 21, 201114 yr Like, make the Portal button the very first tab, and then make it as HOME, or EVEN the PAGES tab. Would make me so damn happy. NOW THAT's a great suggestion.
February 21, 201114 yr Yes, this would be fantastic, sometimes we want a 3rd party add on in front of an IPS APP ;) Actually I would like to have my forums on the end like my old VB site Cheers! +1
March 30, 201113 yr Might I recommend the Fusion Menu? Available in the marketplace. the Fusion menu is great but it's a lot of money to have to spend if you only wish to move your portal tab to the most logical place for it
March 30, 201113 yr the Fusion menu is great but it's a lot of money to have to spend if you only wish to move your portal tab to the most logical place for it To make the Portal tab your first tab do this; Go to ACP>System Settings > General Configuration>Website Name > Home (or Portal, if you prefer) >Website Address> Enter the full address of your Portal Go to Settings >Manage Applications and Modules>Portal>Edit Application Details (button on the far right) >Hide Tab > Yes This will make the Portal your first or Home tab.
April 2, 201113 yr To make the Portal tab your first tab do this; Go to ACP>System Settings > General Configuration>Website Name > Home (or Portal, if you prefer) >Website Address> Enter the full address of your Portal Go to Settings >Manage Applications and Modules>Portal>Edit Application Details (button on the far right) >Hide Tab > Yes This will make the Portal your first or Home tab. Yeah but then it doesn't highlight when you're on it. You could probably redo the navbar yourself... Is there an "if active application is..." conditional? If so, you're set.
