Modern skin 2 : is hardly modified skin with new futures




1-Three Different board index layout can be chooses through admin panel (new):

Forums Mode : which is two column Mode style with forums icon support


Category Mode : which is one column mode with category image support






default Mode : the original IPB boarindex


2- unlimited customizing (thanks to Ryan H. for his advice in this post ) (new):
you can allow your users to build their skin by using four levels of customizing colors :

• backgrounds
• main titles
• bars,submit
• text colors
  

3-background changer through the setting in admin panel (new)


4- two different post warp (horizontal and vertical) (new)

Include :

• Cat images PSD
• Logo PSD
• image set xml
• skin xml
• image set availabe on request
• instruction
• skin setting hook
  

Support :

• Weekend only (Saturday) using Support Topic .
  

Include :

• Cat images PSD
• Logo PSD
• image xml
• skin xml

Hello ,
I am going next week to release an update to Modern Skin Package with new futures .

at this time I will introduce two new futures :

1-Three Different board index layout can be chooses through admin panel :

so if you already purchased the Modern skin then the update will be free .
and if you are going to purchase Modern skin week then you will got version1 and version 2 with 10$ .
in the next week when the version 2 is out the package price will be increased to be 20$ instead of 10 $ this week .

and strangely this doesn't work with RTL , arabic , which is really weird ya Ali ya akhee :blush:

else the idea is brilliant, I have a problem with my skin width coz i am using custom forum blocks, and also the arabic , and failed to find the 3 different board layout

1-go to admin panel
Tools & Settings
System Settings
go to the down and find Import XML Settings
import the attached xml setting "settingGroup_modern-skin"

2-to configure your skin setting go to :

Tools & Settings
System Settings
Hooks
Modern skin

for RTL : as you know it is hard modified skin so usual ipb_rtl will not work with it .
I am going to do include RTL css in this skin for you and also for me .

I already have the skin downloaded so how do i go about applying the updates as i have made some custom changes to the skin which i dont want to lose?

to change the width you need to edit css files

search for
#ipbwrapper in ipb_sttyles.css and edit the width
and then open more.css and find
#s5_outer_wrap
also edit it to widen the content frame .

manual upgade is really very very hard , becuase I completely changed skin and images package to include the new futures .
hoever if you do not want to upgrade version1 is still supported .

So is the best option to re upload the skin and make the changes again?

you can also install the both version in your board , they have different image set , so no confilct will happen

I recommened to keep version 1 and install version 2 also , so you can compare which is better for you .

Solved the Css changer :) works fine now
In firefox when making a new topic, main topic fiels cannot be typed into so cannot put in the post content.

quick question, is the install notes it says:

3- use now ftp to upload the file images.zip to your skin image folder , after upload extract it in this folder .

I take it this means the files named as back2, back3, ect?

colud you please open

skin_images_Dir -----> colorpicker ----->css ----> layout.css

find

body { 	overflow: auto;  }

and delete it then save and reload the page .

if the problem solved please let me know to update the file .

as the skin is being developed on my site it is only available to admin and co admin at the moment but i have taken a screen shot of the area and like i say i haven't made any changes for these fields to be available on firefox.
