There has been a debate on what to do if a user is connected as anonymous and to the live chat app. You can have further details in here:

as Brandon stated we need to turn this into a feature request and see what our community thinks.
now the question is what is best solution? there are some presented in the bug tracker, if you have a new one don't hesitate.
