Feature Suggestion: Edit time restrictions in certain forums

I have certain forums inside my categories that I would like to have limited edit time for members. The rest of the site I would like members to use default editing times. I have seen no way to do this since 2.3.x and thought that it would be a feature by now in 3.x, but it is not.

Maybe add a setting the forum settings for edit time?
