Fórum Jurídico Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 There are a lot of topics that get lost due to oblique discussions. If a moderator could hide those posts (giving the option to the user to see them, if he wants), a lot of discussions would remain on topic. Here is an exemple:Topic subject: Look my new red pen! user1: red is Hitler's color. user2: Hitler sucks. user3: Hitler was a creation, he is a myth. user5: No, Hitler was very real. He killed a lot of jews. user6: Godwin's Law never fails! user7: nice pen, I liked the color. Where did you buy it? In this scenario, a mod could mark user 1-2-3-4-5-6 posts, and choose to hide them, and a short message, with a link would be displayed in the topic, like this: "oblique messages are hidden. See them?" or "off topic messages are hidden. See them?" or "oblique messages (Hitler and the nazis) are hidden. See them?" So with that, by default, users would only see this:Topic subject: Look my new red pen! "oblique messages (Hitler and the nazis) are hidden. See them?" user7: nice pen, I liked the color. Where did you buy it? Don't know if there is something like this already. If there is, please point it to me.
