Lukeavfc Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 Hello everyone, I know this is probably the wrong place to post but for some reason I can't start a new topic in the Customer Support forum. Anyway, I'm with 'Just Host' and findest it so difficult to import my board to it's stressing me out. Okay so far I've downloaded and unzipped my files and extraced the 'upload' folder to 'public_html' on my web host. The 'upload' is now re-named 'forum'. I've changed the required perms from 777 to 755 and STILL I get this message when I type the correct URL into my browser... 500 Error - Internal Server Error The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request. I've tried everything, even contacting the web master yet they say contact support which I'm getting no reply from. Please get back, I'm very light headed on the web host/forum side as this is my first ever and I really don't know what's popping... I'm just following guides. Regards; Luke.
Mark Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 You either need to post this topic in the support forums or send in a ticket - if you are not able for whatever reason to post in the support forums, please send in a ticket. Although the problem is with permissions, try 755 for all folders and 644 for all files unless otherwise stated in the install instructions.
