When you want to edit a Forum Moderator(ACP>Manage forums>Click their name>Edit), and it says:

Can edit others posts/polls? Yes No Can edit others topic titles? Yes No Can delete others posts? Yes No Can delete others topics/polls? Yes No Can view posters IP addresses? Yes No Can open locked topics? Yes No Can close open topics? Yes No Can move topics? Yes No Can pin topics? Yes No Can unpin topics? Yes No Can split / merge topics? Yes No Can set topic open time? Yes No Can set topic close time? Yes No Moderator Control Panel Settings Can mass move topics? Yes No Can mass prune topics? Yes No Can set topics as visible and invisible? Yes No Can set posts as visible and invisible? Yes No Advanced Settings Can warn other users? Note, if you enable this moderators will have warn permissions on any users, regardless of forum Yes No Can use topic multi-moderation? ( Important Information ) Yes No

There should be a new addition that you can their edit names to.(Like change the name to someone else, since its a pain like this). Also, there should be a mass "removal" for Forum Moderators. You check the sections on the forums, and click on the bottom of ACP "Remove Forum Moderation's ".
