Couple of questions before purchase

Gallery:
Is there a function for square thumbnails? If yes, then is it cropping or just squeezing the image?
Can I upload images through FTP? I have a collection of thousands images and it would be very hard to upload them via web interface

Hello,

IPB will resize the image if it is outside of the proportions that you have set for the max size.

For images, are you talking about gallery images or attachments in posts?
