  • Yes, but they are no where as good as Real Chat! :P http://www.realchat.com/ To see this incorporated with IPB or to see IPS create something much like it to purchase as an additional IPS component

  • I totally agree!!! I have been hoping for something like this for a long time now. It is an additional component I would be more than willing to pay for! This is great for sites running business suppo

  • +1 - I AGREE!!!!

A lot of people already have slowness issues. A chat will only make it worse. If you want a chat your better off paying a monthly fee to have it hosted elsewhere and have it integrated into IPB like they do now with 2 of the chats. Addon chat seems to have good bang for the buck. Either the pro or pro plus. A chat service hosted on the same server as the forum will eventually get you evicted from a shared service.

We support AddonChat and ParaChat.

We have a shoutbox as a community project as well.

I've manage to fix my AddonChat problem by uploading the ipchat.php on my own. However does Invision 3 have the who's in Live Chat stats that Invision 2.3.5 does? It's useful to have that stats at the bottome of the board like Invision 2.3.5 so people can know how's in Live Chat. I can't seem to find the option to turn on who's in Live Chat in Invision 3. Does anyone know?

Yes it does. It's managed through a hook. Submit a ticket if you're having trouble with that feature.

Found this yesterday, by searching on google.
