Hello let me start off by saying thanks for making such a wonderful product. So far it is meeting my needs perfectly. But i have a few questions that i cant seem to figure out myself since your layout on everything here is Russian to me. I have purchased the combo pack with the blogs, gallery and board and have it up and running. also due to lack of a final release of your nexus software i have installed Unreal Portal to use until it is complete. Everything pretty much works except the following things i cannot figure out/find in the options.

On this board when you look at a members profile it has a gallery link. I cannot find this option to enable. If their is such an option how would one default that to the view instead of recent posts without having to modify code? Recent forum topics posted are not very interesting to me while viewing someones profile. If this can be changed it would be swell.

Custom Profile Fields - How can i enable a field so people can insert some HTML for either a youtube video or one of the project playlist apps? Ive read and cannot locate any information on this. Expanding a small bit on the profiles would make a nice touch. Also in future versions a layout engine to tailor a basic profile setup would be sweet.


If i have to modify code i can do so. Ive spent 6 years running a previous site using xoops and thats the one program where you do eventually learn how to code a small bit since its not well supported in recent years. Any help would be appreciated as your knowledge base doesn't seem to carry the info or i cannot locate it properly.

Anyways ill look around while i wait patiently for access to whatever the thinger is with all its secretive info and stuff. Figured a post would generate the responses in a manner in which i can comprehend them.

Actually, you need only log into the forums with the same email you used to log into the area you bought the software from. Then you can access the Peer to Peer support forums, which likely already have the answer you seek. If that doesn't work, then you need only file a ticket and they sort it out.

Ive spent over 12 hours of actual online time researching various questions i had prior to posting the original set of questions on this forum. Ive also sent 2 tickets in, one being not so clear with the other one being less insomnia filled. The responses, set of hoops to jump through to even get to a support area and the fact i have to submit a ticket in the first place for any type of access is ridiculous to say the least. So i have spent about as much time on this intricate drawing of the path i took for these questions as the general layout of this entire site from forums to support areas.

Just FYI though, are you sure your gallery is installed properly? The only reason that it wouldn't be showing in the profile view is if gallery.php and gallery.conf.php were missing from sources/components_public/profile (that's all the help you're getting though, and even that only as a gesture of goodwill)

You need to login to the forums using the same login details as you use to login to the client area.
Permissions are synced on login, so if you are using the same details, log out and log back in.

If that is still proving difficult, then:
1. Log out here
2. Log in to the client area
3. Click here

If that still doesn't work then you need to submit a ticket.

The reason you won't get an answer otherwise is simply because you are asking help from the other customers and so you have to do so in an area only customers can access, otherwise people who have pirated the software could be asking for support - which nobody here wants.

I tell you what sir you are a genius. Thanks for your help!

What i did to fix the error was logout of all three sites: Here, Client area and Resources.

Clicked the link you gave and then logged in, sent me here and all the links work. I can now also access topics in the client area.

Ever feel parched stop on by the site cause your truly my hero for today ha! :)
