Feature Suggestion for Next Version of IPB

This is something I thought of after I sent in a ticket request the other day asking about custom profile fields. My question was that the max length is not adhered to by the script and how it returned an odd error. For those that are unaware of this, if you create a field with a max character length of 10, the maximum length of the text area will not be 10. But if the value is more than 10 it would return an error. Since there is a lot of AJAX programming now in IPB I hope that maybe they would consider implementing something like this in the next version of IPB:

The little check mark could go a long way in validating the field so that it meets the proper parameters (even if empty is a parameter that is allowed). It would even allow them to do away with excess error pages.
