cinek Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 everytime I try to change my email address, I get an message incorrect password :S I use the same password as for the login :S what am I doing wrong?
900522 Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 You should have received an e-mail from IPS Forums about requesting an e-mail change and in that e-mail contains a link and 2 details. You can either click on the link and your account will automatically be validated with the new address, or you can enter the details at the bottom of the e-mail (user ID & validation key -- I believe the details are). Completing that you simply log in with the new e-mail address you've validated and same password as before.
cinek Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 well I just tried to change it again and:Sorry, you have entered an incorrect password. Please try again. I don't even get any emails :S EDIT: had to reset my password, maybe it was too short :P anyway it works now, thx for your help :)
