Great news, i have heard that the more posts/threads such as this that are made will magically speed up the release, so let's keep plugging away and drag that historic date forward!

So... when will 2.3.0 be released??!!

I have been sat here clicking refresh on the company forums for literally days now without sleep, whats going on?

I am so desperate for the 2.3 version to be released due to the countless amounts of new features and the billions of bug-fixes it carries (i am dribbling just thinking about it) that i have cancelled my wedding.

I have my FTP program ready and loaded, come on!

I'm actually quite pleased by fixing of bugs found in both 2.2.2 and 2.3. The more bugs that are fixed the better.

Come on guys, have patience. Every time IPS announces an update in our near future so many of you rush to ask when and it's always the same answer. It will be released when it's ready. The answer will never change no matter how many times it is asked.

With that being said, does anyone know when 3.0 is being released? LMAO!!!!!!!

He's probably counting all reported bugs but not discounting bogus ones. :P

The same thing happens when they don't announce it. I'm sure you've all seen the many topics of "when is version Y going to be out" that came moments after version X or even when there had been a lull for a couple of weeks. It makes no difference either way :P

well its not moments after 2.2. so let the ppl post this time :P. People are impatient so what can i say, it's ips's fault for taunting people with a corporate news post and showing the updated version on the forum so its only fair they deal wiv the backlash :D.

I get it from the fact that there were 12 confirmed bugs then 13, then 17. lol

It went down a lot today though.

I will predict it will be released May 29'th or 30'th.

seeing as they always release on fridays and tomorrow is friday and you say the bug reports went down alot today i'd like to see it tomorrow :P.

Um, we almost NEVER release on Friday's. :blink: Given that we have an extremely limited staffing over the weekends, it would be a very very bad idea for us to release on a Friday...


We got have the people who want to know what we are doing in advance, both for planning purposes and just to stay updated on our goals and where we are headed. And then a small select group who get impatient when we LET you know what we are working on (i.e. IPB 2.3).

We do not guarantee any release dates. It will be released when it's ready. Please excersise some patients while we work to ensure the software is stable enough to be used in a production state. :)

I don't see anyone gaining much more from this topic at this point. As more information is available, we will gladly release it - under the assumption you guys don't get too upset with us for telling you where we are at when that happens. ;)
