Hide redirect forums from search

It would be nice to be able to hide redirect forums from the search drop-down list.
I've had at least a couple of users tell me they have tried to search those (redirect) forums and get no results.

What would be much cooler is if you could redirect the search query to another application's search engine if you wanted to. Although some people might consider that overkill, I don't know.
